Not Every Pest Fits a Category
Some pests don't get their own page, but that doesn't make them any less annoying. Silverfish chew through books and wallpaper. Centipedes startle you in the bathroom at night. Earwigs show up in damp basements and laundry rooms. Stink bugs invade every fall and smell terrible when crushed. These "other" pests may not be as notorious as termites or roaches, but they still don't belong inside.
The truth is, most homes and businesses deal with a mix of occasional invaders depending on the season, moisture levels, and surrounding environment. Boxelder bugs swarm sunny walls in spring. Pillbugs roll up under potted plants. Carpet beetles quietly destroy fabrics in storage. None of these are dangerous, but left unchecked, they multiply—and once you're seeing them regularly, it's time to act.

We recommend a regular service plan to reduce the insect population in your home. This normally includes an indoor crack and crevice application, possible trap placement, as well as treatment to the outdoor perimeter of the structure. The population can also be reduced by cleaning webs off exterior lights and sealing any gaps in the seals of exterior doors.
Yes, a general pest control treatment can target areas where stinkbugs travel to reduce the population entering your home. In addition to this, we recommend sealing up any gaps in door seals to keep them from stinking up your home.
You may find dark-colored specks on your mattress or sheets and bites on your body if you have bedbugs. If you do find the actual bug, you may take a picture and contact us so that we can identify whether it is a bedbug and advise you on the best way to proceed with treatment.
They can be brought into your home by a suitcase after travel, by people who visit and carry them in on their person, or by clothes you may get from a yard sale or shop. To prevent getting bedbugs, plan to wash any clothes brought into your home, and when you stay away from home, check the mattress for dark specks (usually found at the head of the bed). When in doubt, take a picture of the insect and contact us for a phone assessment to determine whether the bedbugs are biting!
